Grief is a highly unique experience for each individual in response, intensity, and duration. For some, a significant loss or trauma may leave us feeling imbalanced, disorientated, and confused along with feelings of sadness, anger, and loneliness that surface in grief. The world my feel like it has been turned upside down. Grief can be an isolating experience and it may seem that there is no one who really “get’s it.” To help explore possible answers and hope for healing, a “Coping with Grief Support Group” for friends and loved ones will be meeting weekly at St. Peter’s beginning Tuesday, March 10th at 2:00pm through April 14th.
Arlis Schmidt LCSW - Emeritus will facilitate the group. Ms. Schmidt is a retired licensed clinical social worker with several years of experience of working with groups. Please call Ms. Schmidt at 210-326-7447 if you have questions or if you would like to participate in the group. All who are dealing with the pain caused by the loss of a loved one are welcome.

On September 7th, Trinity will have one service at 10:00 beginning with a ground breaking ceremony for the new parish hall and enlarged santuary, followed by a church service and Pot Luck lunch. Parish Life will furnish the meat, and parishioners the vegetables, salads, and desserts.
Sunday, August 24, School Nurses will be honored for all their work with students during the school year. To help in their big job, Trinity will provide them with checks to be used as they deem plus packages of underwear and socks.
These dedicated nurses are on the front line to serve the students and Trinity wants to make that a little smoother.
Bring packages of underwear and socks and if you wish to donate to the check distribution, make a check out to Trinity, for school nurses, and it will be added to our checks.
