Worship in the Park

Please join us for a day of shared Christian fellowship. We'll be sharing worship with four other churches: Fellowship Baptist, St. Andrew Presbyterian, St. Frederick's Baptist, and St. Peter's Lutheran. Worship will be followed by a tasty picnic. If you need it, have an extra bit of fun with golf cart transportation from your car to the worship site.

The four-year curriculum and small group study is administered by The School of Theology, The University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. Participants enroll a year at a time through the study of Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, and theology respectively. While the course materials provide substantial academic content, the focus of EfM is on life as ministry and understanding that ministry.

The World Day of Prayer is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday of March, though communities can choose other dates.  A different participating country writes the service each year, and we look forward to that prepared by the WDP Committee of Palestine for 2024.

Tax-Aide

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are located nationwide, and are trained and IRS-certified every year to make sure they know about and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code.

Free tax return preparation and electronic filing will be offered at:

·        Trinity Episcopal Church, 909 Ave D  in Marble Falls Thursdays, 9 a.m - 1 p.m. Feb. 1 through April 11

In addition to all tax documents, such as W-2 and 1099 forms, persons who want assistance must bring a social security card for each person on the return and a driver’s license or other photo identification card. A copy of last year's tax return is useful.
